PHASE I: ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS. An initial meeting with parents and student to discuss needs and objectives (see Personal Consultation). The student then completes a series of forms and exercises dealing with personal characteristics, career interests and aptitudes and academic qualifications. Based upon this information, as well as school and testing records, and the interview, carefully researched recommendations as to appropriate schools are developed. All information and recommendations are summarized in a unique, written Future Planning Report for the student.

PHASE II: PLANNING AND MONITORING. In a meeting with a Consultant, the results of the Report are reviewed, as well as the academic program for the year. Also included are establishment of grade goals, suggestions for improving study habits, time management, preparation for standardized tests, etc. School progress will be monitored during the year to ensure that goals are being met and the student is developing the best record for consideration by the institutions to which he or she will be applying. Recommendations for summer enrichment programs will be provided, as appropriate.

All students will be provided with our Summer Prep Packet consisting of our customized and portable SAT/ACT/TOEFL preparation program and instructions for development of a model application and several potential application essays.
